Dunno about Stonehedge's source but the govt's data is 22% of individuals are in relative poverty i.e. on 60% or less than the median nation income after housing costs.

I read about it at least five years ago, but here's something more recent.
Something like 25% of the population of the UK has less than £100 in the bank. Five grand is a life changing amount of money to millions of people.
