Read the transcript here. The preceding remarks are about Ukrainian citizens.
And you’re going to see when you’re there. And you — some — some of you have been there. You’re going to see — you’re going to see women, young people standing — standing the middle of — in front of a damn tank, just saying, “I’m not leaving. I’m holding my ground.” They’re incredible. But they take a lot of inspiration from us.

I was talking about what he was saying to new soldiers before he started his speech, about going to war zones.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. Its a total gaffe. Just not one that I immediately thought was a statement to US soldiers that they would be going into Ukraine despite what he said....the context to me immediately flagged that it was Biden phrasing his point badly.
Jack Posobiec and Tucker Carlson disagree with me though, so there's that.
What are the actual possibilities?
a) Biden gets muddled in his speech and says something stupid
b) Biden actually plans on sending troops to UkraineNeither is great but I know what is more likely.

I know that genetic fallacy is something to be wary of, but the journalist who tweeted that is also very "Ukraine has bioweapons, most of the world backs Putin, Ukraine has nuclear ambitions and Russia is only defending itself because of the Nazis".
Doesn't mean the video isn't real of course, but makes me want to see somebody else verify it.

Yes. She's all about Ukraine's Nazis in the Azov battalion. Very depressing stuff. Hopefully it's nonsense. But with the Donbass having been occupied and fought over for the last 8 years it wouldn't be surprising if atrocious things have been done by both sides

Putin wanted to have the world’s best army and how did that work out?
Perils of surrounding himself with yes-men. -

Yeah I believe there were charges that the Azov battalion in the area had done some atrocities in the past, so that video could be from then.

Silly article about my nan:
The Home Office are such a shower of cunts. We were told there’d be a “2-3 day wait” for visa and travel document after she had her biometrics taken. Now, 9 days and many 3-hour phone queues later, their stance is “oh no, we actually meant an indefinite wait lol”.
She’s stuck in Poland, confused and shell shocked, with us paying for accommodation and having to fly over and stay with her in shifts, for fuck knows how long.

That’s Priti Patel for you (and the fact that immigration is outsourced to various private companies who’s main concern is profit not people).

Urgh, that's awful - all the best to your nan, you and your family and the menagerie. The government cares nothing for her trauma, but I hope a lot of our people do when she gets here.

That sucks. This country's current (UK's) immigration policy is shameful

Anyone see this? https://www.channel4.com/programmes/falklands-war-the-untold-story/on-demand/72469-001 Some of the British senior officers were as hopeless as the Russian army is today. No exaggeration to say that we would have lost if we hadn't had help from Pinochet.

I am trying to find the corresponding article on the Bellingcat website.
Anyone had any luck finding it?
“Irredentist”, a new word to me.
