The moto x bars are too heavy for the current build plan so I'll save them for her next bike. USE seatpost is not 27.2mm so I am not able to use it. But that's all good. There is simply too much purple going on.
I think I'll build everything up with the parts she already has and then try with the ACOR bars and if it's clashing a bit too much for me I'll get her some purple grips instead and then choose a colour that works better with purple for her next bike. No harm done she was still pleased about everything this morning :)

Mega sloppy. They are redoing the big Kona. Luckily my daughter's bike was pretty much perfect. Only shit thing is that they chose to paint the fork steerer

Thanks all. It isn't purple enough I've been told but the brake is good. It took us 1.5h to get home yesterday as she kept blocking the wheel and kept the brake pushed in to make it squeel.

Got a brand new and very cheap sram sx rear mech, chain and cassette for the cargo bike. I do t mind the extra weight but hoping the quality is alright.
Will be nice to run 38/11-50t instead my current 36/11-36 combo. And although I love my current 10sp XT setup it is way more expensive getting a new cadette, chain and pulley wheels currently compared to the £80 I paid for the SX mini group.

I'm not surprised that your client isn't 100% happy with their custom bike build, I'm sure they specified purple in their design brief, you have given them a stem cap!

Absolutely too late.

She is three years old this summer. She has no f...... clue what colour things should be. Everything would be purple if she was to decide. Which would ruin that colour for her eventually I am certain.
I made her a bike I love for her because I love her. That's how it should be. And also why I am not making custom bikes for people where they decide everything. Look at English. The shit he goes through daily to make a living.
