Never owned a pair of those, but from all reports they’re definitely better made than standard Docs, and probably better than the made in England versions too.

I have these boots in a scotch grain finish about 6 weeks old. Worn approx 8 times, usually on the weekly visit to the office. At first felt very tight across top of foot but now pretty comfortable would possible say try half a size up but pretty true to size imo.
Quality seems to be the same if not slightly better as some made in England DM’s I have.

*work involves desk duties, rather than being on my feel all day, but might involve a 2 mile walk each way.
