If these are still around when my shed arrives (mid-April) I'll definitely take them.

Does anyone want this table saw stand?
Free from Catford.
I can take it apart to make it easier to carry if you need.

Happy to hold onto them if you like.
(The way they're appreciating I might hang on to them to bolster my pension) -
• #35356
If someone else can take them before then, go for it. I'd only be hoarding them.

I inherited one when I move into my house. They do the job but are fucking loud, on the plus side you can plug the hose into "out" side of the unit and use them as a blower.

Stupid amount of work involved with this to accommodate a plug socket and hide pipes that randomly come out of the wall only to return into the wall almost immediately.

That is a literal work of art. I bow down to the king of skirting.

I'd guess that one of the tilt latches wasn't fully engaged and the wind twisted the sash slightly and popped the other. If the tilt latches are worn, maybe replace them whist your at it.
The tilt restrictors are meant to support the window whist its open for cleaning, not catch it. Technically, you don't need them if you can support the window whist it's tilted in.
Here's a starter link for you.

Funky, but why not just move the socket?

Craftspeople thread >>>>>>
😅Jokes aside, this is really really impressive!

We had a socket that close to the skirting and couldn’t actually plug anything in - assume it works?
-
• #35368
We have three sockets like that in our kitchen because the builder was a fucking cretin, had to turn the upside down to use them

Work of art!
(are they keeping those school science block sockets?)

“It’s nice but how is my Apple power adapter going to go in that?”

Kudos to you, as someone who's done a bit of DIY skirting, I have a lot of respect for what you do

Anyone interested in a Dewalt plunge saw?
DWS520KT (with case), 2x 1.5m rails (+connectors), 1x 2.6m rail, rail clamps. Collection only due to size...

So I need put a floor down, the previous owners had been using 18mm loft boards.(300x1200). And yes it flexed like anything.
I'm looking at 18mm OSB3, as 22mm p5 chipboard won't fit under the existing fittings.
Tell me I'm wrong to do so. -
• #35374
Argh - i wanted one of these a few weeks ago and bought a normal skill saw instead!
How much are you looking for?
-
• #35375
Probably around £400 for the whole lot but would also split.
2.6m rail is £150 alone (if you can find one in stock).
I have 2 unused sheets of 15mm grade BB/BB birch ply of anyone want them?
Collect from Catford but I can help with delivery if not too far.
Current prices seem to be around the £100 mark per sheet so does £125 for both sound fair?
