The actual question is:
What are the 2 worst MoonSwatches and would you still take them if those were the only ones left when you got to the front of the queue?
-
• #62457
Yes, and sell them to the poor bastards behind you in the queue

This photo supports your view. How cheap does the yellow one look! I suppose all the gorgeous PR photos have been heavily edited.

I'm away for the weekend or would have chanced it in the queue. If anyone picks up an extra Moon pretty please keep me in mind!

Brilliant! I wanted a moonwatch but can’t justify it, let alone wear it everyday.

“ According to the official Swatch instagram account, “the watches are not limited or numbered, they will also be available online at a later date if you’re unable to purchase from a store”

I'll be honest, I think the snobbishness from some online moonwatch owners about the moonswatch almost justifies the collaboration - it feels like everything that's wrong with horology when you see these middle managers worried about their 'investment' in their Omega not making a 'return'.
I'm a moonwatch owner and I'm quite tempted to get a moonswatch as a beater to wear to the pool / on holiday. I don't feel like it's robbing me of anything. And I like the difference in experience - I wanted a moonwatch since I was 25 and earning just enough to pay the bills. I love that if I was 25 now I could conceivably afford something which ticks many of the same boxes until I coud get the real thing. I wasn't sure yesterday, but the reaction to it has justified the collab imo.

i think its good for the industry. turns it on its head. I think these will be very sort after in a few years.

I can’t see it possibly affecting moonwatch values, or new sales, in any way.
It’s a fun thing, I’m glad it exists.

watch ppl sometimes take themselves way too seriously.
Also, if you bought a watch as an investment, you get what you deserve

This. But also if I just dropped 7 grand on the new 3861 I would be pissed that this has just come along.

Casioak today. I bought this not long after release but have only worn it a handful of times. I'm not a big fan of it due to the poor legibility, seems to be anti G-shock practicality. I like the overall style but regret not getting one of the other models where you can easily read the time. If anyone has one with the white indices and is interested in a swap, let me know.

Nice, I am growing to like Breitlings more and more.
What strap is that? I am looking for a nice quality NATO/Zulu strap for the incoming Seikos.
No, I have two. Knife thread>>>
