The Sinn is lovely. I thought you'd sold your GS? I'd like an elegance for myself but there are loads of options for around 1k less. My dad would like either of these but no uk stock of the Seiko and whilst the Miles is affordable second hand i can't seem to find any so looking for alternatives. He's not a huge fan of the Chrono version of the Oris which seem more available. I'm assuming the regular version he prefers would be cheaper as well if i could find one.

It was my ideal spec, a mashup of the Bundeswehr:

The seller claimed it was a one-off prototype with no reference number or papers. He was telling inconsistent stories about it on C24 and ebay at the same time, and various Heuer specialists told me it was a fake which came around every few years. I would still have bought it and enjoyed it for what it was if his price has been 2 grand instead of 10.
