I love Longines. Really enjoyed the BigEye, but mutual consensus here was that 30m WR is just not cutting it. And my 40mm Spirit was great, but a bit too shiny for that type of watch. I’m still waiting for them to make something I’d buy and keep.

Deep cut.
I’m a changed man now, haven’t flipped a watch in a good few weeks! -

That is fucking ridiculous .
Who's to say that after the initial madness it doesn't become a standard stock line that you can buy online .
Some idiot with more money than sense is going to take a bath on that. I hope. -

Lol its just a couple of buddies making stupid bids. Nobody is gonna buy that, i'm tempted on throwing a 100k bid!
-
• #62384
5k bid I can kinda understand, 30k no way, it's just people trying to ruin the sale.

Decided I'm going to try and get one on Saturday, tried calling any of the London stores to ask about how many they're getting but their lines are constantly busy...

I've been looking at "homage" watches and found this thing. Love it, pure ridiculous.

Saturn is the best one, it's got the ring around lower subdial and a nice fade too

It's the moon Moonswatch for me followed by Mars and then Mercury.
I really wanted to hate this as well. -

Which model is the 30m WR? I'm looking for a classic looking watch on a leather strap with clasp deployment 38-40mm sub £1500 for my Dad so started looking at longines straight away but looking around something like a Hamilton Jazz master would probably do nicely and he liked the Seiko pressage tonneau when i showed it to him but can't seem to find stock so I'm not sure it had a uk release. Any suggestions?

I've just seen the SwOmegatch range in the window of Regent Street Omega store. They are not that special, pricey at £250.

AND YOU DIDN'T BUY ALL OF THEM??? Whats wrong with you?!?
-
• #62396
But they own Omega and make it a nice entry point for people that don't want to damage or get mugged for a 4k - 5k watch, while still respecting the original unlike a complete fake.
-
• #62397
You can't purchase through Omega, display only. Or should I say 'Exhibition Only'

pricey at £250.
Have they really gone for the 1:1 CHF to GBP exchange rate?!

This tweet from Taiwan shows people queueing outside a Swatch shop https://twitter.com/kouketsu1974/status/1506961742810648578 The author says there are 100 watches per shop, so 50 people in the queue means the watch is sold out.

The website stated the price at £207?
- Its 2 per person, apparently per day, they cant be the same colour.
- The come on medium straps as standard, apart from the pink, which is small and they will also be getting large straps at some point.

Just did a route planner, 408 miles from my house to Swatch, Edinburgh.
GMaps says 7-8 hours.
Fag packet maths and a liberal interpretation of speed limits, reckon 5 hours with refuelling factored in.
