  • Although I wanna point out that it’s not just the uk, rain covers are usually seen as a must and I know the UA one is very popular everywhere. Think it makes the whole thing a lot more cosy and sheltered, kinda makes sense as well seeing as your passengers won’t be pedalling to keep warm!

    I get it for actual babies, but if they can wear a raincoat then I can't see the need for a heavy metal and plastic tent on your cargo bike.

    I do the school run, without a cover, in the dark and rain, whatever the temperature as the alternative is 15 min walk or car, fight for parking, then as long walking as I would have been cycling. So I'm getting a cover.
