I am not a tax accountant but if the company buys it and then they live in it for a while then that is a benefit in kind and taxable.
I mean. I think live in it is a bit of a stretch. It's more so they don't have to move out while their place is being rewired or while the plaster is drying in the bedrooms, etc.
They're not having it plumbed in. Just electricity.
It'll be an office 99.9% of the time.
And no one will know anyway. We pay enough tax in the UK, a little bit of give on a company bought garden office is small beer.
