I was slammed with work for the past two months and now I have a break.
Made a hip pack in Liteskin xpac with magnetic buckle.
I have 20d tarp + cordura hip bag in process + ordered a bunch of ecopak fabrics without a real need - let's see where it takes.

Hip pack looks great, did you work to a pattern or come up with your own? Also interested to hear how you get along with the ecopak fabric. It sounds really cool, and I’ve been thinking about getting some to make my girlfriend a new hiking pack with.

@si_mon628 thanks!
@SoYaap! I worked on this pattern based on mission workshop & some other inspiration. I have to admit that carrying high weight is not the most comfortable, probably a side buckles should help. I am working on slightly different models alterations, want to try a roll top & also top zipper combinations and, finally, then put something on sale here or locally.

Are you making these for anyone else? I'm after something very similar to this!

I haven’t but I have improvements on my mind & also Im making decision whether I should buy a bulk of fabrics and pursue sewing or keep it for friends and family 😄

Any chance you have a stem bag you'd like to sell or could make one?

Yes! I decided to make a run of stem bags made of ecopak, picking up a new sewing machine on Saturday, let's contact, we can work it out : )

Some updates --
Made many many tests, finally got a framebag to where I like it to be, going to share a new hip bag design as well
All around ecopak 200, I had this really burly zipper but it's non waterproof, so decided to make a zipper only on one side to increase overall bag water resistance. aaand i didn't get around to buy (i have a double one) so it's hand bound.

Again, really nice work! I remember for the first bags I did I went for waterproof zips and they both blew out after a couple of years of use. The chunky non-waterproof ones are a much better choice.

Yes, I agree, I used two framebags for a month, I prefer the chunky one all the way.

On the other news, I came back home just for two days, pushed myself to make another rando bag in short time but I am quite proud of it!
I am coming back to sewing studio in July, talked with local bike shop to put some of the bags on display for sale, yay!

Consolidating couple months of work here
My partner made a logo for me, I owe her a backpack for this one.
I ordered laser etched logos on alcantara and they came out beautiful.
Also, updated stem bags with cordlock with easy pull to open, pull to close feature. Made a dozen of them.
Planning to make a big run of hip bags soon.
You may follow my work on IG aswell hehe - https://www.instagram.com/sandbagsvilnius/

Haven't seen your thread before, for some reason. All really great stuff, well done. Especially liking the colour combos on the stem bags.
