Fair chance that’s the same fox

There is also the Urbane Fox - the well dressed variety whose habitat is the more up-market areas !

There's a pretty good chance that this is the same fox as my post.

This little one has been making friends with our cats through the kitchen window. I think they're 'playing' but it's hard to tell if she thinks our cats are friends or food...
(edit, forgot to make the pics public)

It seems the local foxes know how to open our food waste bins which is a bit annoying. My girlfriend did wonder why they just scattered the stuff around rather than eating it until I pointed out that the chicken carcass that had been in the bin had disappeared.

are foxes attacking / eating cats?

On my road it's the other way round. Our local cat is always chasing them.

Your local cat sounds quite fierce 🙂

He's very territorial, I've seen him smack dogs that are passing through. He's a big softie sometimes.

I've only seen (or more accurately heard) it happen once a few gardens over between a fox a neighbour's cat. Our garden visitor seems pretty friendly when other cats are around though.

This one seems to enjoy sunbathing on our shed roof. Looks like a hard life

There are two juveniles and an adult that live in/ around our yard.
This morning down the street they'd clearly found something very exciting. The two juveniles were on back legs having a play fight, when adult bolts across the road and WWE style takes them down. Ran back to the food source and then 5 mins of chase game before a car came and ruined their fun.
Cute little bastards when I don't have to think of our sheep or chickens -

We're regularly seeing one appear from behind our garage where there's an area of big bushes. I'm suspecting that there's a family there. I'll keep an eye out and report back when I have more.
On another note here's another rather good cat+fox pic posted on FB ...

I just saw a fox walking down the street with what I thought was a pigeon in its mouth. Stopped to look, and it turns out she was carrying her cub. She put it down and they trotted into the bushes together. This has made me very happy.
