    I tried my NHS GP a few times in recent years in the hope that things might have improved. No signs so far.

    I have a fair few friends who need NHS treatment for various things and they just aren't getting it. Really feels like the beginning of the end for the NHS as we know it.

  • Depends where you are tho. Current GP is beyond shit.

    My old GP in Islington was decent from a service pov. Good tech, easy to use, etc. When my OH lived in Crouch End there was an excellent GP, which unfortunately closed to new applicants as it was so good for pediatrics.

    Annoyingly I had to move as our GP refused to refer us for fertility treatment unless we were both registered there. Which is quite frankly ridiculous. Luckily we were able to do it in the US so didn't have to deal with them again on that matter.

    TBH I don't see what's wrong with people using private GPs if they can. The reason lots of GPs are shit isn't a handful of private GPs. What is a bigger issue is that some (like mine) are so atrocious, where as others are perfectly serviceable (I'm not expect outstanding).
