Their own twitter team spells it out, "if you spot your bike in our low res non specific photos, then tell us and we might bother to look further into it".
Spoke to some officers yesterday at a bike tag marking sesh, despite both being on the bike marking group for years both were amazed that some bikes could cost more than £1500! So yeah, not encouraging unfortunately
