I've only done this kind of painting with furniture but the principles are the same. You can use a very fine hand sanding pad, somewhere around 400 grit to denib between coats.
If you've not done much of this kind of work before there are lots of 'beware who goes there' sage advice I could offer.
It's very hard to do a decent job outside of a paintshop.
Do modern spray paints need cutting back between layers? I've spent today filling a couple of deep scratches in the bumper, then sanding down coarse to fine wet/dry. I'd like to try and blend as much as possible too
Anyone got any sage advice/tips?
