    Yes, both c-c.

    With the filing of the tabs I meant if you were able to move the brake pad the required amount down to the rim, without modifying the brakes itself.

    I my case the front still has some room left to lower the pads, and the rear ones are all the way down in the tabs. Ideally I would want a little bit more adjustment for the rear, so might file them in the future. Bear in mind the tolerances of positioning the studs when the frame was made, so your miles may vary.

  • Thanks for measuring! And strange with the geometry. Maybe a model from a different year or so - or they were resizing it quite strange.

    And good to know with the long reach brakes, at least its not an issue of filing them so much down, that they get open (which I wouldn't really want to do). Lets see if we reposition the canti studs a s well...gonna keep you updated.
