Having looked it up, it boils down to:
Use rook to reduce the "box" available to the enemy king.
If the box cannot be reduced, move your king towards your rook.
Force enemy king to corner then support mating rook with your king.
Don't allow a stalemate!
I have the annual subscription and use it to analyse my 10 min rapid games. Of which I play FAR too many per day.
Being able to analyse all my games is super helpful.
Well sort of. I still can't stop my ELO yo-yoing around 1000.
I know that I need to grind out some opening learning and do more puzzles. But playing games is so much more fun.
Oh and given my last game, I should really learn how to mate with a king and a sole rook...
