  • What's happened to Jameson's Chocolate Caramels ? can't find them anywhere !

  • £14.76/kilo on Amazon, can be had at Hancock's cash n carry, and I suppose a local ye olde sweetee shopee may sell them too.

  • I need to try this.

  • The greater pleasure was always in the making as I recall. Snowflake generation can’t be trusted to whisk milk and powdered dessert together 🍨 🤣

  • The Iceland collaborations at the moment are all blowing my mind. I also want to try the Ambrosia custard and Mr Kipling ice cream offerings. As well as a load of the ice lollies that they've got.

  • Browsing this thread has opened up a long distant memory of these magnificent balls of minty joy. Will likely be buying some online over the weekend now.

  • Uncle Joe's Mint Balls 4 life

  • They could have worked on the presentation over the last 120 years, looks like they fell out the back of an animal.

I've just eaten a 5 pack of Cadbury;s Creme eggs, like the hideous glutton that I am. The pack consisted of 2 of the regular variety, the original and still the best, 2 caramel filled ones which were too sickly, and a new addition to the range that confirms Satan is alive and well and working in confectionary, the Oreo Creme egg. Kind of a fusion between ashtray and litter tray, truly bloody awful.

  • That's me off to the sweet shop tomorrow.

  • butterscotch angel delight was the ultimate treat during times when we were dirt poor, milk was a rare & prized commodity in the house as my mum and the constant stream of family either living with us or visiting would mainline cups of tea & coffee non-stop all day. milk was off-limits to the kids unless we had a pack of kellogs variety on the go.

so angel delight required purchase of its own pint of milk alongside the sachet to not upset the grand scheme and being mostly self-sufficient at cooking by about age 8 i would have to make it myself.

the wait for it to set was probably the longest 15-20 minutes of my childhood existence.

it comes premade in little pots now so i tried some the other week and it was utter pish, childhood ruined. but this may redeem it. please report.

  • ^ I will still bosh a butterscotch angel delight if I'm ill. Best medicine.

  • Off to Iceland next, will be dosing up on it tonight.

Had a knock-off Butterscotch "Heaven delight" or somesuch recently, was not a great experience TBF. Hoping this restores the faith

Edit: out of stock, only had Strawberry, so I declined

  • butterscotch angel delight

Discussed elsewhere on here recently, I bigged it up to my daughter as a must try experience, got some, made it, split it between two bowls, waited, waited, and waited.... then, it was finally ready.

She gave up after 2 spoonfuls. I gave up soon after. It was awful. Like butterscoth angel delight coloured Sweetex. Sad times.

  • Anyway, this is amazing.

  • ‘Member those boost stimulant bars? Guarana can make athletes piss hot so they got discontinued.

Also, twenty years. Just let that sink in.

  • Ha ha fucking hell remember them!

  • twenty years. Just let that sink in

    Nooooooooo

  • Got some yesterday, meh.

  • Got to hand it to Nestle. Stroke of genius calling a bog-standard chocolate mousse an ‘Aero mousse’ grabbing the must-have factor in the populace and charging a premium price.
I mean, what’s the chocolate bar equivalent of a mousse, if not an Aero bar?

  • Very pleased speculoos spread has turned up in NZ supermarkets.

  • Went to the Pump St popup in Shoreditch yesterday, spent too much.

Also if anyone's after a late Easter gift, thoroughly recommend checking out Diggle - https://www.digglechocolates.com/

Got some of her stuff as Christmas gifts, she's very bloody good

  • I’m glad that place has shut down now, spent far too much in their over the last 2 weekends!

Bought this from there last weekend. Can confirm that it is superb, and it took some restraint not to stock up on additional jars when I popped back in.
