The chocolate and sweets appreciation thread

The greater pleasure was always in the making as I recall. Snowflake generation can’t be trusted to whisk milk and powdered dessert together 🍨 🤣

The Iceland collaborations at the moment are all blowing my mind. I also want to try the Ambrosia custard and Mr Kipling ice cream offerings. As well as a load of the ice lollies that they've got.

butterscotch angel delight was the ultimate treat during times when we were dirt poor, milk was a rare & prized commodity in the house as my mum and the constant stream of family either living with us or visiting would mainline cups of tea & coffee non-stop all day. milk was off-limits to the kids unless we had a pack of kellogs variety on the go.

so angel delight required purchase of its own pint of milk alongside the sachet to not upset the grand scheme and being mostly self-sufficient at cooking by about age 8 i would have to make it myself.

the wait for it to set was probably the longest 15-20 minutes of my childhood existence.

it comes premade in little pots now so i tried some the other week and it was utter pish, childhood ruined. but this may redeem it. please report.
