  • I just glossed this, not having read it before. But it seems the key is:be born with amazing genetics, train like a fucking animal, passion.

  • He’s an interesting guy who clearly gives absolutely zero fucks about doing anything other than following what he thinks is right be it in sport or life. Giving away his gold medal after getting back from Beijing (to the daughter of a jailed publisher in China) for example.
