First league clean sheet since November! I’m largely pretty pro Pickford (last year or two certainly) but you may have something of a point, you can’t really say from one game, though. Pickford makes some world class saves (double save against City, for example) bit there’s stuff keepers do which isn’t the spectacular stuff - positioning, talking to defenders, projecting calmness etc. which I wonder if Pickford is lacking a bit.
Shout out to the Geordies who’d come down in dinosaur costumes to taunt him only to find him not playing and subsequently lose in the 99th minute.
