see @Ramsaye comment above, me and the missus have had the same issue. So much so that even after using a cotton bud doused in rubbing alcohol, I take most of my calls on speakerphone or headphones to circumvent the problem.

I seem to have an issue with the ear speaker on an iPhone XS. It’s really quiet. It’s not the volume. Any ideas what it could be and a resolution?
