A popular music duo were invited to appear on national television, but on condition that they made no mention of the war and no demonstration of homosexual behaviour. Russia in 2022? No, USA in 2003. Note the way the director studiously cuts away from the singers during the bridge to avoid shocking Americans with the sight of two women snogging, but trusts that Cyrillic script is all Greek to 'merkins (or is himself too stupid to realise) and ignores the huge "Fuck War" inscription on their shirts.
