  • o rly? I never actually tried, judging by pics they looked homeopathic and a faff. The front is mini V still?

  • This thread is on a roll

  • no it has this wedge shape thing that makes the arms rotate, it needs little pull to work, so set-up correctly it is pretty satisfying.
On paper a good design, but everything surrounding it makes it tricky. cable routing, tiny adjustement screws, access, the crazy aero flaps....

  • This thread is on a roll

    Now look what you've done

  • What brief do you even give to end up with that shit?

‘Imagine a £12k Pengy with some turquoise paint on it.’

  • TBF this whole page is pretty shit.

  • someone really oughta post a giant tcr

  • That was last page!? 😁

  • This thread has got a troll

  • you prolly knew this already

  • TBF, apart from the training wheels and junior gears, that ticks a few HHSRB boxes. It’s just a terrible ensemble and the reputational damage of riding an English at this point is not worth thinking about.

  • I used to race with a guy who had this

  • Cervelo is the triathlononce bike of choice thanks.

(I’ve signed up for a duathlon before any of them start getting cross.)

  • agreed cervelo is the actual choice of the moneyed amateur. World tour level is much more inclusive...

    Makes me think that my tri-friend is selling his #P5 #disc #ultegra8070 #di2 with #enve and #rotorPM

  • S5 is one of the best looking bikes in the peloton imo

  • Only with a glistening rouleur on it. I love Cervelo, and love the S5 as a design solution, but it’s not classical enough, for me, when #BAAW.

Michael Mathews had one with a flat stem-bar combo, which I haven’t seen since. That helped.

  • This was the last decent Cervelo, with a glistening rouleur on top winning a mountain stage.

  • fair points. where were we ?

  • Cabling through top tube?! Come on. A slammed R3 with deep wheels would be fine to retire on.

  • can be a good gravel bike

  • Slammed with a 130mm stem I would agree. Ridden by a sleeveless with no socks, not do much.
