It's not my child, I don't have daughters and I'm still feeling a lot of anger.
The "smelt cannabis" line seems to get trotted out a lot and makes me wonder - do these people actually know what cannabis smells like? Are they trained cannbis smellers? Do police have super sensitive noses to detect cannabis hidden inside an orifice? Fucking bullshit.

This the sort of thing that scares me for firstborn, not so much the excessive escalation, but that does boil my piss, but the adultification, which can do so much harm to his personality/character/and emotional well being.
He's tender hearted as it is and the idea that my bright boy could be fucked over by authorities that place their trust in a racist police force who could damage his spirit before he has a chance to figure out who he is, so I've got to get him to act in a certain way to armour himself against it, breaks my heart.
