  • So, the house we want has gone straight to best and final bids. I've limited experience here and could do with some advice.

    I've done the obvious stuff (checked local sold prices etc), but there's nothing totally comparable nearby and coming up with a figure is hard. I'm worried about overbidding and the mortgage people saying they don't agree on the value. Any tips greatly appreciated

  • What is not comparable?

    There aren't any other 4 bed detached places that have sold in the immediate area over the last few years, since demand has gone through the roof
