Can't see it, myself. The Cipressa isn't that hard and there'd be enough riders left that a few teams could combine and pull him back on the long, flat run to the foot of the Poggio.
If I was UAE I'd make it damn hard on the Cipressa, and reduce the group right down, then launch Pogacar at the usual place on the Poggio. Even then, he'd have to drop the likes of Alaphilippe and Van Aert, which isn't a given on a climb like the Poggio.
