The Russian journalists aren't also being arrested because they have press passes and are standing in an area marked out for journalists. If you think the woman being instantly arrested for holding up a sign (in a very public square full of security police in a country where protestors have been arrested almost as soon as they stepped outside their front doors and where one woman was recently arrested for holding up a blank sheet of paper) is fake, I have to assume you've been watching no news at all.
If you think the whole scene is faked, I'd ask you to consider how possible it would be right now to have people pretend to be security police in a public space in Russia.
Autocracy often looks farcical from the outside. Doesn't make it a joke.
sigh no. But a conspiracy theorist response is very apt.
