Rode down to Barking Creek Barrier earlier. Interesting spot. Shame they don’t let people in the sewage works, loads of great concrete in there.

you can visit the Crossness Pumping station south of the river. Looks quite fancy.

Damn, I never knew it was so magnificent. It was our local works when I was a teen. I remember intentionally upsetting my poor old Mum with shouts from the lav of 'quick Mum, ring Crossness and tell them it's coming, they'll need to take on an extra shift, I've put a flag in it!'. That genteel working class lady didn't deserve me as as a son.

Went to check out the industrial bit of Barking today. Not many places like that in London anymore… Some great buildings. The flyover is Redbridge roundabout.

Cheers! There was this really strange rainbow “blob” in the sky yesterday. Just a particular type of cloud/conditions.
A bit of Googling tells me it might be called a fogbow.

Algor wharf looks like a candidate for a Wes Anderson film.

Never heard of those, we often get sundogs around here, popularly considered precursors to cold(er) weather.
Love those water and doggies shots on the beach shots further up. -

More than likely this is actually a sundog.
