Can I have first dibs on this bike when/if you ever want to sell it?
-
• #15078
Sure can. But don’t hold your breath. I’m waiting for all the disc/intergration/fork issues to stabilise before considering anything new.

Anyone have a lefty end cap hub tool?
Ideally SE london. Maybe it’s just a cassette tool? I can’t try mine as it has a centre pin and the centre bolt for the hub is not hollow. -

I think it’s just a cassette tool and iirc it’s reverse threaded
-
• #15082
Ah ok. Yeah agreed on reverse thread

Could anyone help advise what threaded BB I need for this frame to allow me to use a HT2 chainset? 2015 Supersix Evo.
Will these work?

Yep, that's the one I used in my 2015 frame too, worked great
-

Thanks, which one? I've just noticed the wheelsmfg one says BB30a. This page suggests it's not asymmetrical.

Haha, yes. Had a Caad10 about a decade ago. Big regret selling that...
-
• #15089
Because you knew that the BB30 worked because it was in the frame ? ;-))))
Complicated ? Mois ??

Oh sorry, I clicked on the link not realising it was three links, and amazingly got the right one. I used the Praxis one, BB30.

Aren't these the generation with the famed 23mm max tyre clearance ?
Apart from that Wheels MFG Bb30A adapters work a treat -
• #15092
I'm still on 23mm 😄
I used the Praxis one, BB30
Thanks Tim

Hi, can anyone tell me if these marks can be polished out? From some research I believe this is areas of the frame where the clear coat has worn away and leaves the aluminum open to oxidization, can anyone confirm? I don't believe it's a concern, just cosmetic, but understand if this appears near joins it is problematic. Thanks

It's not a problem but you'd have to strip the paint, rebrush the metal and paint it again to get rid of it
-
• #15098
Hi, ok so strip the clear coat, brush off and then pay for new decals and clear coat, probably be a few hundred quid right?
-
• #15099
Don't know a lot about paint so it may not be that simple, not sure

I wouldn’t bother. If it does bother you, I bet after riding it a handful of times you’d forget about it anyway.
Prob only gonna happen again somewhere else on the frame anyway
You could get the next gen s6 for a bit extra, which is more refined.
I have a VGC 60cm black 2019 s6 for sale, if anyone’s looking.
