Undoes top cap, undoes stem bolt, removes conical spacer to measure with callipers. Discovers there already a bearing cover hiding underneath 🙄.

Yeah, that's a thing, some CAADs have it too. Mine are still a couple of mm lower than that (and a bit lighter), but you have to be desperate to need the small difference.
