I really don't bother anymore. I honestly can't remember the last time I had it on. I just listen to NTS Radio now. Minimal chat, music you've never heard in your life before.

Agreed - I gave up about 6 months ago - put up with Smooth Chill for a while until I figured out they play the same thing every day - now on Radio 3 ( work that one out ).
For variety have just taken delivery of the best of Sister Sledge, might follow it later with some Boards of Canada, do find that variety is important.

I've reached my limit with 6Music now. The moments of enjoyment or discovering new music from it are far far outweighed by how fucking astronomically irritating the presenters are.
