I seriously looked at that 'reynolds' sticker for a few seconds wondering when they ever made a 420 tube set... a free bump for you, GLWS

Now sold. Thanks for the interest. Hope we can see a pic of it built up by the new owner.
I am sad that the day has some to list this awesome frame. It’s been with me for many miles including a trip to New Zealand where we took on some gravel country roads with 26mm tires, up to Scotland to summit Bealach Na Ba as well as credit card touring in France etc. It’s a superb frame thats comfy and responsive blah blah. I have an Independent Fanrication in the stable now so sadly this has become redundant. Your gain!
Specs:
Columbus EL OS tubing with some Columbus stamped lugs. Some of the tubes are ovalised and I believe OS stands for over sized tube diameters. The seat stays are shot in.
The frame is chromed under the paint and the chrome is unpainted on the lower seat stay, dropouts and chainstays. Classy.
The paint! It’s a bit like a Colnago Master but better and with seahorse motifs (Cavallo Marino = Sea horse). There are a few scratches and dings here and there but generally it’s looks amazing. Especially in the sun. The headtube decal has rubbed off almost completely but the paint it still fine. No rust spots!
Clearances wise I was running a 28c at the back at one point. I think it could go higher maybe 700x30 depending on the tire.
Internal rear brake cable routing with a sheath so you just chuck the outer through without any issue. The brake bridge takes a recessed allen nut. The front mech has a braze on port. There’s a spacer on there from an Ultegra mech. Your gift from me. The rear mech cable has a brazed on guide that needs a special ferrule with a crimped end to keep it in line. Ask your LBS if you haven’t got one. The rear mech cable hanger is straight and true. Both dropouts have tensioning screws. One is missing it’s outer cap but can be adjusted from the inside. Both sets of bottle cage bolts are supplied but the STI / Down tube guides are not. Seat bolt is included. Bottom bracket is Italian threaded. BB has cable guides brazed on underneath. No stamps on BB shell. The headset cups in the photo are not included and will be removed before sale.
