That was one of my first thoughts, hotel rethink! I wonder if the sponsors will now distance themselves from the club.

Even if they don't (which they will), they won't be allowed to actually give them any money will they?

Pre existing financial arrangements will be honoured, but no new deals or automatic renewals where there is a break clause will be able to be negotiated.

It does mean that all out of contract Chelsea players will not be able to agree new deals, there are a few of them too!
