• Those Zipp shifters are nice but I cannot justify at least £75 to get them right (£50 plus the service kit plus shipping)

  • Oh well, the price you mention seems like a bargain to me. To put it this way-I could buy the kit, fix the shifters up and if for whatever reason then wanted to sell, I could aim for at least £150, based on the new selling price of £300/popularity of Zipp/SRAM kit/the relative scarcity of the shifters. But of course this is out of the question for me in my current housemoving circumstances seeing as the above is something that takes enthusiasm and some time which I'm in quite short supply of ATM,and of course I'm in need of immediate funds and the shifters were an ideal choice for my thread as they fit the theme and are certainly out of the ordinary. I don't think it's so much about the money, but about the enthusiasm and thinking the business through, like the above, so anyone else interested please take note.

  • Not arguing it's a good price, just weighing up this vs my current Dura Ace 10spd bar end shifters and the change required.
