Me neither but I suppose another year in the weeds with inexperienced drivers isn't something they're positive about and if there's no cash-rich driver they can get, why not go for someone they know. Piastri would have been great but also Alpine and Ferrari would have been loathe to do it I bet.

Absolutely. I guess it depends about how long he may have the drive for. Not sure Giovanazzi would give up FE for a couple of races with Haas.
