They might make most of their money from rent, but that money still comes from burgers. Discuss.

(Not actually disagreeing with you, just nodding towards how often this subject is discussed and debated on MBA courses etc).

I bet they’ll say the ban is “temporary “ and still collect rent in lieu of future gains, possibly putting some independent business owners in debt though
