My Kia doesn't have these cameras but it does have radar that beeps loudly and gently resists the steering if you indicate when something / one is in the blindspot (and beyond).
It feels like a very good augmentation.
It also flashes up warning lights within the wing mirror surface, whenever the blind spot is occupied, regardless of whether you are indicating or not.
