• this spanner is for my brake nuts, not my axel nuts, that little plier spanner looks cute.

    can i use a non narrow wide chain ring for a road bike with a clutch rear mech? should be fine? biggest bump it's going to take is a kerb

    they're 130 bcd and finding a 38t narrow wide chainring is hard/ expensive for the fractional gain it will give me over 42, but also the idea of buying a bb, bolts and ring, swapping it all on the 110 cranks i have is too much time/effort/money , although would allow me to use a 34t

    the other option is buying ANOTHER 104 mtb crank, spacers and a 30t ring and have the same, ideal set up on all my bikes

  • I was just about to ask.
    Why would you need to adjust those brake nuts while out riding/at all after the initial set up?
    Never used Paul brakes before...
