Don't mention it when you check it back in and you might get away with it. I've sent back a hire van with similar and never got charged

My wife caught a rental transit on our gateposts and sliced about a metre of it open like a sardine can, and they never noticed. -

Managed this tasty scratch off a branch on a hire van. It’s about 12mm wide. And maybe 300mm long.
Any idea how much I’m going to get stung by enterprise? £300, £500?
Dent doctor type mobile scratch repair places aren’t interested.
Fortunately the wife’s MOT was only £45 and I’d put money aside for that. PITA tho!
