She has great taste. The way she references classic sounds from acid, electro, trance and techno genres is amazing. Her sound design is on point.
I was a bit sad to see the videos getting so commercial though. If she can make a big success of it that would be great but I'm not sure the wider public is ready for the kind of Techno she has been producing.

I have lost touch with her these days but was actually talking to her ex Oli from Mental Groove today as we are meeting up in London this weekend for his Ramjac/Irresistible Force record launch party. https://tailored-communication.com/events/the-irresistible-force-vs-ramjac-corporation-live-at-the-brain-1990-album-release-party
Her taste used to be equisite and she forced things like early BOC stuff into my record bag when she worked in the Mental Groove shop. Her ability to go from juddering techno to ambient and back to breakbeat while keeping pressure on a dance floor was amazing. One time after playing at the ultraschalle in Munich with her I remember clubbers looking for anything for her to autograph including torn up fag packets. She always had star quality and a sense of musical panache.
I used to stay with Caro and her then partner in Geneva. A real pioneer female techno dj. I’d hear her playing Plaid, Jeff Mills, Prince, karftwerk, Autechre and all sorts of other stuff, seamlessly, perfect mixes riding the pitch control. Even in the electroclash days she never played the dross that was coming out but just because of her work with Michel she got lumped in as an electroclash dj which was really incorrect.
