Finally got the Marin all finished and tidied up. It was sorting the cable routing and mudguard clearance mainly. I had to trim the front guard just under the fork with a Dremel to allow me to push it higher into the crown.
Did maybe 20 miles on it yesterday as a shakedown and apart from the rear hub settling in and loosening off slightly it was great. Everyone else was on gravel bikes but being honest it wasn't that slow in comparison. Bits of road climb seemed to be the worst. It was so comfy everywhere on any terrain. Did a few real muddy paths and it didn't even clog between the tyre and mudguard which was great.
