The TTL refers to it having flash TTL not metering TTL. M6 TTL and M6 classic have the same light meter, with the difference being how readings are displayed. On the newer TTL models they have LEDs which indicate over or under exposure
I think the " hard to repair" rep and extra price come from the extra electronics on ttl model, also cos newer etc

Anyone know a good place to get an M leica CLAed in London? Both my friend and I have sent two separate bodies to Aperture, both came back after £250 service with exactly the same issues we gave them in with...

What did they say about? They are meant to be leica experts. Ive used Leica in Manchester and they were class.

Is there a £20 note inside one of those rolls, hence the £35 or am I wildly out of touch with film costs just now?
Saw a bit of resurgence in interest for all things analogue so thought I'd check out the threads on all the forums, its jumping again apparently? I have literally boxes of cameras (anything particularly high end collectible, Blads, Leica, Contax older Nikon are gone years ago), mostly decent quality 35mm, K1000, FM, ME super, various 35mm RF like Braun, Kodak, few medium formats I'll never use again Bronica and some nice folders. Then there are dozens of low end cameras, point and shoot style that have always been absolutely worthless hence not bothering to clean up, test and sell, but quick look at ebay and even those are worth something now.
And then another 6- 10 boxes of accessories that no one ever wanted before. In about 2015 I threw away probably 6 Patterson colour dev tank machines as each had tiny damage (a chip or small crack or one lid missing), but now they seem to reliably go for £100+ with worse damage. FML!Used to sell on ebay and through forums, but found ever deminishing returns on time vs what you get for stuff. Might shove all of it in a general household auction as often got stupid high prices for boxes of literally UV, B+W contrast filters, broken low end flash guns, compact point and clickers. Anyone know the best place to shift stuff now or stick with auctions?

Unfortunately so. The same 3 rolls of film would be £44 plus postage on Analogue Wonderland, for example.
Ebay is the best place to sell when they have a final fee offer on but I would go by sold prices for reference rather than the listed ones as they tend to differ quite a bit.

Put it up here first as folks are actually into film here and might be interested.

Hi people iv got a Canon EOS 500N Camera
35mm film camera
Out of storage so untested recently but was in full working order when last out of storage.
Come with two lenses (canon 28mm / 80mm) (sigma 70mm / 210mm)
Shutter release cable
Is £40 a fair price? Any interest?
Cheers.

Yeah everything I read said to avoid as the light meter can’t be fixed, whereas the “classic” M6 uses the same parts as the MP. The TTL is also always more expensive for some reason.
