I've heard some cheap digital calipers eat through batteries unreasonably for their usage
But IMO Aldi/Lidl middle aisle stuff is good quality and value, and leagues ahead of ebay/amazon cheap stuff.
How do these measure up? (Pun intended but genuine question, I don't want to be changing batteries every few uses)
Yeh. On some they keep trying to measure all the time. The only way to switch off is to take the battery out.
