The highlander sleeve you have is from a collection known as “warner pulse” - they were retail (sell-thru) tapes that were for direct sale to the public. Generally not desirable by collectors but some like them as when displayed they look nice on a shelf.
Great collection (and pooch). Can you share a picture of your ‘The Thing’? Want to see if I can find one and frame it, but not sure what options there are in terms of artwork versions.
I maintain that at one point in the late 90s, EVERY house in Britain had a mandatory copy of The Thing on video somewhere. It seemed to be always there, no matter where!
