You mean the SD slot in my mbp might not be enough? Worked the last time.
Will try to make the thing run with whatever raspbian is called now on the SD card, and then see. Which might end with an audiolab a6000 play.
Not sure what mbp is - if it can write images so the Pi reads them, then all good, but I found a cheap SD adapter that plugs into a phone and an android app then worked for me. Just get the latest version of Volumio and it works pretty well.
