  • My Daytona 675 ride from Edinburgh/Selkirk/Moffat is still one of the most memorable I’ve ever done.

  • Better buying a motocross bike than those, arse is gonna fall out them eventually.

  • With the plan to make the EV trials I’m concerned about a purge; the Swindon oink’s facebook presence has been showing a lot of seized bikes recently.

  • Anyone else use ABBA stands?

I am ordering one for the Blackbird (centre stand is removed). Watched the mechanics use one today and was in awe of the ease of use vs paddock stands.

  • I've always wanted one of those. But my workshop is the pavement.

  • Me too. Usually shed floor or driveway. It’s only because of the sheer mass of the BB that I considered something like it. I used it on the BB today at the workshop to see what the fuss was about. Very wow, much impress.

  • Just for you @pdlouche

  • That person’s work was doing the rounds a few weeks back. As a huge fan of Jet Set Radio and 80’s/90’s manga (Akira etc), I don’t hate it. Does seem that they have just traced photos though.

  • Raulo Vera, that’s the guy.

  • Rider Down have put a couple local dates up. Gonna try go along to one to have some structured training on that stuff.

Anyone else done one of their things?

  • Yes, handy info. First on the scene stuff and traffic control is interesting.

Hope you never have to use it.

    Salute

  • My dad's decided to get himself a retirement treat, he's picking up a new rally pro on Friday

It'll never see a a dirt track in its life but hey ho

  • Ace!

Out of curiosity how tall is he?

Aspirationally wondering if I'm at the stage of wanting a enduro touring thing with panniers, rather than looking for a hookup.

  • He's 6ft but he's only got a 28" leg or something. He's all torso but he's getting the low seat option

  • The beak…. just…. I can’t unsee it…

  • Haha yeah that's what I didn't like about the Vstrom but weirdly I'm less offended by it on the triumph.

    I really want a Tenere 700 now

  • I really want a Tenere 700 now

I'm not quite at the adventure bike stage of my life yet, but the simplicity of the T7 is appealing.

  • It's just a big dirt bike from the reviews I've seen.
and in black it just looks cool

  • Finally. You guys are talking sense.

Of all the big adv bikes I sat on in a showroom? The T7 was the one that felt like I would ask for a test ride. Everything I’ve seen about it agrees - it is totally capable on and off tarmac.

  • Not normally into the rally variants, but that paint tho

  • This has some bits which frankly should not be possible on a road going bike of this size

  • You need to see him compete in the Spanish hard enduro on that…against people on the usual suspects. He finishes like…23rd or something. Out of a few hundred.

T7 could possible be…the one bike to do it all!
    Also…whomever this mental fucker is.

  • I don’t think it’s fair to see a champion-level trials rider on any bike.

It’s like asking a Hollywood actor to advertise a local primary school’s cake sale.
