Was lost on me too. Was trying to figure out which rebellion he fought in (tens of thousands of Soviets rebelled), rather than assuming he was a Nazi. Besides, Stalin was in power in Russia for a lot longer than the Nazis were around, I think.

Succeeded Lenin in 1927 and died in 1953.

I'm also very bad with faces so initially wondered if the fail was they had accidentally used a photo of that Captain Tom Moore bloke.

Just managed to find the actual article on waybackmachine. I think the epic fail is that even after reading the article the author did not make clear who he was fought for. My money is on him fighting for the UPA or UIA rather than the Nazis but who knows?

Wow, thats one hell of a rabbit hole. That guy could have fought against the Soviet Union for any one of 5 different Ukrainian factions or the Nazis. History is complicated.

The Green Bay Packers make a big thing out of St. Patrick's Day. This year, the Chicago Bears thought it would be a fun joke and a dig at their rivals to pretend they were dying the rivers their colour in honour of the day.

Their colour?

Trufax- the dye they use to dye the river green is actually an orange powder.

Maybe not epic, but ordered a load of no-plastics washing and cleaning products, no palm oil, compostable packaging, all natural etc. All lovely products except turns out they are made in New Zealand so kinda fucked on the carbon footprint.

Yes! I got a voucher for nappies and wipes that came with enough green credentials to soothe my guilt, all from Australia and New Zealand!
