That’s the benefit of the speakers not being in your ears imo. I don’t always ski with music but sometimes it really accentuates the feeling.
And if you’re going to get hit from behind, there’s not much you can do about it anyway, other than just ski faster!

I'm a no music skier unless it's the SSX3 soundtrack, in which case it's up to 11.
Literally one of my ski playlists. Although it just made me rue the lack of fireworks or close plane flyovers any time I caught the slightest bit of air
