Star ratchet hub question...
The hub on my Giant SLR 1 wheelset gave up this morning, spinning back and forward. (Had to clip clop home for 4 miles, cleats ruined)
Took it apart and whats happened is the hub shell has stripped and is smooth so the inside cog just spins away inside it.
I am hoping this will be a warranty job but I guess my question is, how does that happen?
Got the bike in August 2020 and is well used in summery months but not had mega miles.
